You provided delicious food for the cast and crew and helped the day to run smoothly.
Some people think that on shoot catering is about hospitality but it’s much more than that. It’s a key part of keeping things on schedule and the type of food is really important too. Shoot catering needs to be delivered on time and able to be put out quickly and still look appealing. It needs to be easy to ‘grab and go’ so has to be well thought out to include finger food that won’t result in any greasy marks on props and costumes. And it’s always a diverse group of people so it has to cater for different food preferences. On top of that, it must be satisfying enough for a working team but not so heavy that everyone has an energy slump after lunch.
And that’s why your buffet was perfect. I knew I could trust you to get it right, deliver it on time, cater for everyone and strike the perfect balance to keep us all satisfied but still with great energy levels after lunch.
